If you’re lucky enough to secure Andy for your wedding photography, in our opinion, you’ve hit the jackpot! We were very fortunate to have Andy photograph our wedding and he has truly exceeded our expectations. Andy is very easy to talk to and took on our photographic requests with enthusiasm. Andy was great at mixing in with family and friends putting them so much at ease I’m sure they forgot he was there, great for capturing those all important candid shots.

If you want to be still enjoying your wedding photographs in 50 years time and saying what a great wedding photographer we chose - Andy Currie is the photographer to book. He is able to capture the moments throughout the day, without intruding in proceedings and without any of the photographs looking posed or contrived. Because of the quantity of quality photographs he produces the only problem you have is in deciding which photographs to leave out of the album.

We were blown away by Andy's talent during our first meeting with him and booked him straight away.
Once we had booked him, and closer to our wedding date, Andy helped us plan out the timetable of the day, which was much appreciated since Ian and I had an overly relaxed approach to our wedding.
On the day Andy proved to be professional, friendly and extremely kind (even helping carry me up a flight of stairs). All of our guests have commented on how lovely he was and eager he was to take photos when asked.
The photos we have of our day are amazing, Andy managed to capture those candid shots (which made the day) as well as creating formal photos that could be published in a fashion magazine. Needless to say we cannot wait to receive our bridal book.
Nothing we asked for was a problem and as a result Andy helped make our day one of the most stress-free and happiest day of our lives. His communication after our wedding has been brilliant, and we would definately recommend him to anyone looking for value for money.

Andy stood out from the photographers that we met while planning our wedding. He understood that we didn't want a run of the mill photo shoot in a garden. I remember the day we found Andy. We were walking around the Christchurch Convention Centre at a Wedding Expo and wandered across his stall. We were immediately drawn to his photos because they had interestingly candid subjects captured in truly artistic ways. We went ahead and booked him there and then, and never looked back.
From the very first meeting (which was a laidback chat over a cup of coffee) we were impressed with his approachability and professionalism. Scott and I didn't have many ideas about what kind of photos we wanted or where we wanted to have them taken, but it didn't matter because Andy was a wealth of knowledge about such things. He totally nailed the kind of look we were aiming for; one that was not too posed, yet elegant and stylish all at the same time.
On the day of our wedding, he was organised and punctual. He knew exactly what he wanted for the shot, but he was never obtrusive. He even joked around with our guests and made them feel comfortable, something that I know was appreciated by all.
His workmanship is astounding, and he provides excellent value for money. I would not hesitate in recommending Andy to anyone.

When looking for a wedding photographer we both looked at different times at many different sites. Independently we both decided that Andy was our man. His communication prior to our wedding was spot on - we knew exactly how it would all work on the day. We went to 4 locations in an hour which meant that we could get back to our guests as quickly as possible which is exactly what we wanted.
